This position is responsible for the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, ensuring inventory accuracy and material readiness to support operational needs. The role focuses on improving inventory execution and optimizing material flow in alignment with company standards and safety procedures.   Key Responsibilities Serve as a lead support contact for district warehouse staff and logistics operations. Receive and verify incoming materials; accurately record quantities and condition of items. Prepare and ship outgoing materials, ensuring proper documentation and handling. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the Logistics Coordinator to assess usage trends and restocking needs. Sort, label, store, and organize materials to maintain accuracy and accessibility. Fill requisitions, work orders, and purchase requests efficiently and accurately. Identify and report discrepancies such as damages, shortages, or surplus inventory. Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and warehouse activities. Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, and Operations to support cost-effective material delivery plans. Take initiative on special assignments or ad-hoc projects as directed. Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and organizational goals. QualificationsQualifications Skills & Knowledge Preferred: Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering. Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory or warehouse distribution in a heavy-duty truck or oilfield services environment. Familiarity with oilfield or manufacturing operations is required.   Critical Tasks / Performance Goals Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through in a fast-paced environment. Proven communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interpret instructions and convey information effectively. Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a larger team. Sound judgment in warehousing practices and inventory control. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Physically capable of lifting, standing, walking, and performing warehouse-related tasks.   Work Environment & Physical Demands Regular exposure to moving machinery, outdoor weather conditions, diesel fumes, chemicals, dust, and moderate to loud noise levels. Must be able to frequently lift, lower, carry, and move materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 65 pounds. Must be able to push and pull equipment, carts, hoses, or other objects requiring up to 100 pounds of force. Requires frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and working at ground level for extended periods. Must be able to climb and descend ladders, steps, platforms, and equipment while maintaining balance and stability. Requires sufficient manual dexterity and fine motor coordination to operate tools, manipulate small parts, assemble and disassemble components, and perform maintenance and repair tasks. Requires the physical stamina to perform repetitive physical activities throughout the workday while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and other safety equipment. Requires visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, identify defects, and safely perform maintenance and operational tasks. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with supervisors, coworkers, customers, and other personnel in shop, office, and field environments, as applicable.
