Responsibilities

Build and maintain a strong book of self-generated business.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local market.
Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral partners.
Guide clients through the mortgage application process, providing expert advice and support.
Analyze clients’ financial information to determine loan eligibility.
Present appropriate loan programs and financing options based on clients’ needs.
Attend industry events, community functions, and networking opportunities to expand professional relationships.
Actively participate in local organizations and community activities to increase visibility and generate new business leads.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of loan applications.
Ensure timely, accurate, and consistent communication with clients throughout the loan process.
Collaborate with internal teams to help facilitate timely loan approvals and closings.
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire mortgage process.
Address client questions, concerns, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Build lasting relationships with clients and referral partners.

Qualifications

1–2+ years of experience as a Loan Officer with a demonstrated track record of success.
Active NMLS license and strong knowledge of current mortgage industry regulations.
Proven ability to generate and close mortgage loans.
Strong understanding of mortgage loan programs and products.
Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite.
