Position Overview 

The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality performance of assigned teams. This role involves coordinating work activities, monitoring employee performance, and ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards. The Supervisor serves as a key liaison between management and staff, supporting workflow efficiency, addressing operational challenges, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. By providing leadership, guidance, and accountability, the Supervisor plays a critical role in meeting production goals, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the department. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Oversee and coordinate daily team operations to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. 
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to employees to support performance, engagement, and professional development. 
  • Monitor attendance, productivity, and adherence to company policies and operational procedures. 
  • Communicate expectations, priorities, and operational updates clearly to team members. 
  • Identify workflow issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and team performance. 
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback and corrective guidance as needed. 
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and training of new and existing employees. 
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment. 
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to support operational goals and continuous improvement efforts. 

 

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role. 
  • Strong understanding of operational workflows within the relevant industry. 
  • Ability to effectively manage people, schedules, and resources. 
  • Basic proficiency with office software and communication tools. 
  • Experience with performance management and employee development is preferred. 
  • Leadership or supervisory training certifications are a plus. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required by operational needs. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
