Primary Purpose
Performs advanced warehouse coordination and inventory-control activities requiring broad knowledge of warehouse operations, systems, and procedures. Resolves non-routine issues, supports process improvements, and serves as a resource for less experienced employees.
Duties and Responsibilities

Investigates inventory discrepancies and determines appropriate corrective actions using transaction history and operational records.

Coordinates complex receiving, storage, transfer, and shipping activities that require resolution of atypical issues.

Analyzes inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and warehouse performance data to identify operational trends and concerns.

Coordinates warehouse audits and reconciliation activities and ensures that supporting documentation satisfies established requirements.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Supplemental Responsibilities
- Performs SAP goods-receipt, transfer, goods-issue, return, and inventory-adjustment transactions; verifies material, quantity, unit of measure, storage location, and supporting documentation before posting.
- Supports the MRO material flow by staging and issuing parts against maintenance work orders or reservations; coordinates returns of unused material and maintains traceability of critical spare parts.
- Conducts cycle counts, physical inventories, and location audits; researches variances using SAP transaction history and recommends corrective actions to protect inventory accuracy and financial controls.
- Coordinates receiving, inspection status, labeling, preservation, put-away, and bin-location accuracy for maintenance, repair, and operations materials, including critical and safety-related spares.
Qualifications
Education
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- Required: Typically requires 3 years of related experience.

Experience in an industrial, energy, manufacturing, maintenance, or MRO warehouse environment.

Experience using SAP or a comparable ERP system for receiving, inventory control, material issues, transfers, cycle counting, and work-order material support preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to interpret warehouse reports and proactively flag potential issues.

Knowledge of compliance, audit, or data-retention requirements related to warehousing.
