Job Description:
Role Profile:
Responsible for the general maintenance of the building and facilities including water, heating, air conditioning, and electrical maintenance.
Key Accountabilities:
- Maintain HVAC system
- Do minor maintenance as needed for water and electrical repairs
- Carry out preventative maintenance programs
- Provide maintenance to material handling equipment to ensure service reliability
- Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as floors, walls, doors, etc.
- Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order
- Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are completed
- Answer security/alarm calls as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Capability Profile
Minimum Qualifications/Skills
- Ability to work specified shift
- Ability to work for the set wage amount
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
- Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions
- Basic knowledge of mechanics, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Ability to lift/move product that may weigh up to 100 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop or crouch frequently in the course of the shift
- Have appropriate hand, eye, and foot coordination to properly use hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Ability to climb ladders and work at higher elevations
Minimum Experience
- 2+ years of previous facility maintenance experience
