Join Our Team

MaineTouch LLC is a growing Personal Care Agency, and we are looking to add an experienced and motivated Operational Manager to our leadership team.

The Operational Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, support and supervise staff, ensure quality client services, maintain regulatory compliance, and help strengthen and grow our Personal Care Services throughout Maine.

We are looking for a leader who is organized, dependable, solution-focused, and ready to take ownership of operations.

What You'll Do

  • Provide leadership and oversight of Personal Care Services and daily agency operations.
  • Supervise, coach, and support Personal Support Specialists (PSS) and other assigned employees.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development.
  • Oversee staffing and scheduling to ensure clients receive reliable and consistent services.
  • Monitor employee performance, attendance, training, and documentation.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, families, guardians, case managers, and other members of the support team.
  • Participate in new client referrals, admissions, and service starts.
  • Monitor service quality and client satisfaction and respond promptly to concerns.
  • Ensure client and employee documentation is accurate, timely, and complete.
  • Support compliance with MaineCare requirements, agency policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in quality assurance, audits, reviews, and corrective action processes.
  • Monitor staffing costs, overtime, and other operational needs.
  • Assist leadership with improving agency operations and supporting continued growth.
  • Provide leadership and support during urgent staffing, client, or operational situations.
  • Travel to client homes and service locations throughout Maine to provide oversight and operational support.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience in a Personal Care Agency, home care, healthcare, HCBS, residential services, or human services setting preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of MaineCare Section 19 and Section 96 services and requirements strongly preferred.
  • Experience supervising PSS, direct care, or other frontline employees preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with staffing, scheduling, employee supervision, documentation, and service coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple employees, clients, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with company leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; relevant management and industry experience may also be considered.

Travel Requirements

This position requires regular travel throughout the State of Maine based on agency and client needs.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and access to a reliable, insured vehicle for business-related travel.

Mileage reimbursement is provided for eligible business-related travel in accordance with MaineTouch LLC policy.

Schedule

This is a full-time management position with a flexible schedule based on agency, client, and staffing needs.

Some evening, weekend, and after-hours availability may be required to support urgent operational needs.

Compensation

Starting Salary: $50,000–$55,000 annually

The listed salary range is based on experience level and may vary depending on an individual's skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.

Up to $3,000 Sign-On Bonus

This position is eligible for up to a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Additional details regarding eligibility and terms will be provided during the hiring process.
