IT Project Manager – Infrastructure, OT & Enterprise Applications
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a variety of technology initiatives across infrastructure, cybersecurity, operational technology, GIS, asset management, and enterprise applications.
This role will be responsible for managing multiple small- to medium-complexity projects from planning through implementation while coordinating internal technical teams, external partners, and vendors. The ideal candidate brings strong project management fundamentals along with experience delivering technology projects within complex enterprise environments.
Candidates do not need experience across every technology area listed below, but should have successfully managed a combination of infrastructure, security, OT/SCADA, GIS, or enterprise application projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead small- to medium-complexity technology projects from initiation through completion, with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and overall project outcomes.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, scope, deliverables, milestones, and resource plans using established PMO tools and templates.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and coordinate activities across internal teams, external resources, and vendors.
- Define project resource requirements and work with resource managers to secure appropriate technical resources.
- Perform project cost analysis, develop estimates, monitor budgets, and track project financial performance.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure vendor schedules, costs, dependencies, and deliverables remain aligned with the overall project plan.
- Establish, maintain, and regularly update project risk and issue logs.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Escalate project issues and risks to leadership when necessary.
- Manage project change-control activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, technical discussions, and stakeholder sessions.
- Communicate project status, risks, decisions, timelines, and outcomes to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Maintain accurate and complete project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support business process improvement and organizational change activities associated with technology implementations.
- Coordinate site visits and onsite project activities as required.

The Project Manager may support initiatives involving:
- Network infrastructure upgrades and cloud modernization
- Cybersecurity, physical access control, and security standardization
- SCADA and Operational Technology (OT)
- GIS and asset management systems
- Enterprise application implementations and integrations
- Customer Information Systems (CIS)
- SaaS implementations
- Business and operational system modernization
Applications and technologies within the environment may include ESRI/ArcGIS, IQGeo, Verkada, CUSI, Elements, Splunk, Five9, SAP, and related enterprise platforms.
Experience with every application is not required; experience successfully managing projects across several comparable technology areas is preferred.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience managing technology or IT initiatives.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple simultaneous projects.
- Experience developing and managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and deliverables.
- Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and third-party vendors.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate project documentation.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and manage challenging conversations with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility and effectively communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels of an organization.
- Experience supporting technology implementations, migrations, integrations, or modernization initiatives.
- Understanding of business process improvement and change-management principles preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline preferred.
- PMP, PMI, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Ideal Background
Strong candidates will have experience managing a combination of IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, SCADA/OT, GIS, asset management, utility technology, or enterprise application implementation projects and be comfortable moving between technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and field-based project activities.
