Columbia NW Heating is looking for a part-time Customer Engagement Representative to represent our HVAC company inside our Home Depot locations in Beaverton or Portland (Mall 205). And here's the best part: you don't have to sell anything. You'll talk with homeowners who are shopping at Home Depot, answer basic questions about heating and cooling, and help interested customers schedule a free in-home estimate with one of our HVAC professionals. There are no cold calls, no door-to-door sales, and no sitting behind a desk all day. What You'll Do Greet and engage Home Depot shoppers in a friendly, approachable way Start conversations with homeowners about their heating and cooling needs Provide basic information about our HVAC services Schedule free in-home estimates using our easy mobile app Hand out information and promotional materials Represent Columbia NW Heating professionally and positively Work toward appointment goals while creating a great customer experience Communicate with our sales and service teams to ensure customers receive proper follow-up You DON'T Need to Be a Salesperson This isn't a traditional sales job. You're not responsible for closing the sale, providing quotes, or convincing customers to purchase anything. Your job is to have a conversation, identify homeowners who may be interested in learning more, and connect them with our HVAC team. If you're comfortable walking up to someone and saying "Hi, can I help you?", you're already halfway there.
