SummaryThe Construction Manager is responsible for managing contract crews and leading daily telecommunications build operations from planning through completion. This role balances technical guidance, safety, and quality standards with budget and schedule oversight to ensure seamless project execution and strong stakeholder relations.Role and ResponsibilitiesSite Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce project site safety standards, hold contractor crews accountable for safe work environments, and ensure strict compliance with contracts, permits, and utility locate regulations. Operational Leadership: Lead contractors and project staff as the technical authority; translating project specifications, scope, design, and equipment requirements into actionable field guidance. Field Operations & Quality Control: Oversee daily field-build execution, conducting routine inspections to ensure construction, site restoration, and redline/as-built documentation strictly align with design specs and municipal requirements. Budget, Schedule & Risk Management: Monitor work plans, schedules, and costs to deliver projects on time and within budget, proactively escalating risks and corrective action plans to leadership. Stakeholder & Community Relations: Serve as a key project spokesperson to foster positive relationships with community partners, utilities, and local customers, resolving homeowner and municipal concerns promptly.
Leadership Reporting & Team Alignment: Maintain continuous communication with executive leadership (Director of Construction, Regional Manager) while supporting team development and performing other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements
