Park Maintenance Worker II

Full Time position, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.  Maintenance, repair, cleanliness, safety, and general appearance of parks, recreational facilities, athletic fields, playgrounds, buildings, and related public property.  The position operates a variety of hand tools, power tools, vehicles, and light equipment to complete groundskeeping, landscaping, custodial, snow-removal, event-support, aquatic-facility, and minor repair assignments.  Must have at least one year experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, custodial maintenance, building maintenance, parks maintenance, construction, or a closely related field.  Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.  Available to work emergency hours to include evenings, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather when required. High school diploma or recognized equivalent.  Obtain within 12 months PA Pesticide Applicator License and Category 7 (Lawn and Turf) and Category 24 (Swimming Pools). Possession of a valid PA driver's license.
