POSITION PURPOSE: Support the Plant in handling all quality issues and quality testing.Ā Responsible for maintaining the Non-Conformance Database and ensuring that the information entered is accurate.Ā The position requires continuous monitoring to ensure that all the issues are responded to and closed.

DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enter and investigate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Test product for each batch blended
- Quality Management System (QMS) document control author for plant
- Enter quality data into QMS
- Ability to support in making blend corrections
- Investigate and manage all quality issues
- Work with suppliers to mitigate issues
- Root Cause Analysis and Reporting
- Manage Customer Quality Requests/Issues
- Reviewing documentation for accuracy (ex. Bills of Lading, testing, etc.)
- Compiling and Graphing Data
- Ensure that NCRs and Corrective Actions are Responded to and Closed
- Advanced Product Testing ā Send needed product for testing.
- Create Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Quality Reports
- Create Quality Summary Reports that Pertain to NCRs, CARs, and Audits
- Assist with any requests as they apply to audits
- Other Duties as Assigned

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Willing to Learn and Grow Beyond Job Description
- Terminal experience a plus
- Working in packaging preferred
- Chemical background, technical experience a plus
- College degree preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external customers
- Intermediate knowledge of PCs and related software such as Excel and Word
- Skilled in building relationship
- Good analytical and research / problem solving skills
