** On-site at our Prince George, VA facility. **

This role is to support a new factory in Prince George, VA (onsite) startup manufacturing large form-factor equipment.  The product will be large (shipping container size), heavy (50+ tons), and complex.  This position will be part of the core factory startup and onboarding team responsible for building the operations and manufacturing staff, fitting out the building, and creating the process flow/work instructions/etc. from the ground up. Skills to include: panel and point to point wire assembly, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, and High Power Electronic assemblies.

Shift A: Mon - Fri (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

Job Summary
The Inventory Analyst II is responsible for analyzing inventory levels and material transactions related to the movement and transfer of materials both within the facility and with external partners.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze cycle count results, investigate discrepancies, and authorize inventory adjustments as required.

  • Identify root causes of inventory variances and partner with workcells to implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, including downtime, inventory adjustments, backflush integrity, material returns, rework, and line inventory.

  • Review material flow processes and recommend improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, efficiency, and control.

  • Analyze financial and inventory reports, including consumption trends, backflush variations, and other inventory-related metrics.

  • Review and support RMA processes while providing guidance and leadership to other Inventory Analysts; perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications ​

  • HS Diploma required; Associate degree (AA) preferred

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in inventory control, materials management, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a manufacturing environment

  • Strong background in inventory accuracy, cycle counting, reconciliation, and investigating inventory variances with a proven ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions

  • Demonstrated analytical skills with experience interpreting inventory data, transactional reports, KPIs, and other metrics to support operational decision-making and continuous improvement

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including the ability to analyze material transactions, inventory movements, and inventory-related reporting

  • Experience providing leadership, mentoring team members, or serving as a subject matter expert while effectively partnering with production, materials, warehouse, and finance teams

  • Collaborative, high-energy professional with excellent communication skills, a continuous improvement mindset

  • Exposure to Lean Six Sigma principles, and the confidence to challenge inconsistencies and drive process enhancements

The pay range for this role is $65,500 - $117,900. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
