Job Summary:**

The Service Advisor VW is the primary point of contact for Volkswagen service customers, responsible for guiding them through the vehicle repair and maintenance process, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a positive service experience.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Greet customers promptly and courteously, providing a warm and professional welcome.
* Listen attentively to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues and service requests.
* Perform thorough walk-arounds of vehicles with customers to identify additional service needs or recommendations.
* Prepare accurate and detailed repair orders, including estimated costs and completion times.
* Communicate clearly and effectively with customers regarding vehicle diagnosis, repair status, and pricing.
* Obtain customer approval for all recommended services and repairs.
* Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
* Monitor vehicle repair progress and provide regular updates to customers.
* Explain completed repairs and charges to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
* Process customer payments and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
* Maintain a high level of product knowledge regarding Volkswagen vehicles, services, and accessories.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
* Promote additional services, parts, and accessories as appropriate.
* Maintain a clean and organized service drive and office area.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or technical training preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor, preferably within an automotive dealership.
* Previous experience with Volkswagen vehicles or German brands is a significant plus.
* Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* Proficiency in using dealership management systems (DMS) and other relevant software.
* Ability to accurately estimate repair times and costs.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
