Job Description
- Works independently to specify, plan, design, develop, test, and support software components as assigned.
- Works with the team to establish necessary requirements specifications and test plans for software product validation.
- Responsible for researching, recommending, estimating, prototyping, and/or initiating the development of products, methodologies, and technologies.
- Contributes to project schedule generation including scope of work, duration of tasks, and order of execution.
- Responsible for translating requirements into design and implementation of well-structured and documented software components.Presents/Participates in design reviews and code inspections.
- Strong PO who should be managing the product backlog, defining user stories, and bridging the gap between business stakeholders and agile development teams.Â
- They ensure the delivery of maximum business value through effective sprint planning and feature prioritization,
Backlog Management:
Own, groom, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, ROI, and strategic goals. User Story Creation: Write clear user stories, detailed feature specifications, and precise acceptance criteria for development teams. Sprint Planning: Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement sessions to guide the engineering workflow.Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary communication link between business stakeholders and development teams, managing expectations and requirements.Acceptance & Testing: Review and accept completed sprint deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and user needsÂ
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Math
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of Object Oriented Design.A minimum of 5 years of Object Oriented Programming.
- A minimum of 3 years of C#/.NET experience
- A minimum of 3 years of Web Development Technologies such as: JavaScript, AngularJS, ASP .NET, CSS, HTML, JQuery, SignalR, WebAPI
- Action-oriented with a focus on results
- Demonstrated positive work ethic with a strong commitment to achieving project goals.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Experience working in a regulated (FDA) environment with medical instrumentation is a plus.
- Experience with the Agile\Scrum process.Implements solutions to assigned defect issues.
- Anticipates system faults, failure modes, and unusual events, making sure the software adequately mitigates identified risks.
- Develops automated unit test cases to assure software meets the design criteria.
- Monitors work progress against schedule commitments, reports progress to leadership in a timely fashion, including when work will not be completed according to schedule milestones.
