Job Summary

The renowned Butler Hospital is seeking a full-time or part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychologists, nurse practitioners, and other behavioral health professionals. You will  will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients presenting to our Inpatient Access Center (Emergency Room).

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse patient population.
  • Flexible scheduling: Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday second-shift coverage.
  • Shift flexibility: 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts available.
  • Work within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team that includes attending psychiatrists, psychiatry residents, nurse practitioner, social workers, pharmacists, and nurses.
  • Epic electronic medical record implemented system-wide.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Certified by ANCC
  • Active Rhode Island APRN, RN, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.
  • 2+ years of PMHNP experience
