Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Provide leadership and guidance to direct care staff during assigned shifts.
  •  Ensure adequate staff coverage and adherence to staffing ratios.
  •  Monitor resident activities and ensure a safe, structured environment.
  •  Respond to behavioral incidents, crises, and emergencies according to policy.
  •  Conduct shift briefings and communicate important information to staff.
  •  Complete required documentation, reports, and incident notifications.
  •  Assist with resident supervision, transportation, appointments, and activities as needed.
  •  Ensure implementation of treatment plans, behavior support plans, and daily programming.
  •  Monitor medication administration processes and report concerns.
  •  Serve as a role model for professional conduct and therapeutic interactions.
  •  Participate in staff training and ongoing professional development.
  •  Report maintenance, safety, and facility concerns promptly.


Requirements

Qualifications

  •  High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  •  Minimum two (2) years of experience working with youth in residential treatment, mental health, or human services.
  •  Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  •  CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Prevention/Intervention certification (or ability to obtain).
  •  Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  •  Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
