The Global Scientific Training (GST) Oncology Summer Intern will support the development, implementation, and evaluation of scientific training programs that enable Medical Affairs and Field Medical professionals to deliver high-quality scientific exchange. The intern will collaborate with scientific training leads, cross-functional stakeholders, and subject matter experts to contribute to training content, learning resources, analytics, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Oncology Scientific Training Support
Assist in the development and maintenance of scientific training materials.
Support curriculum updates for oncology and/or other therapeutic areas.
Conduct literature reviews and summarize scientific publications relevant to training programs.
Help organize and track training content across learning platforms.
Contribute to training needs assessments and gap analyses.
Assist in creating learning resources, job aids, infographics, and workshop materials.
Support evaluation of training effectiveness through surveys and feedback analysis.
Participate in planning and execution of training events, workshops, and congress-related learning activities.
Data & Analytics
Analyze training participation and engagement metrics.
Develop dashboards, reports, and summaries to support training decisions.
Identify trends and opportunities to improve learner experience and program effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with GST Oncology team members, medical directors, scientific content teams, and learning professionals.
Attend project meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
Present project findings and recommendations at the conclusion of the internship.

Build skills in scientific communication and adult learning principles.
Complete and present a meaningful business-impact project.

Scientific training effectiveness measurement

Qualifications
Required Education
Currently pursuing a PharmD, PhD, MD, or related healthcare/scientific degree.
Completion of at least one year of graduate or professional education preferred.
Required Skills
Strong scientific and analytical skills.
Ability to review and summarize complex clinical information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
Interest in Medical Affairs, Field Medical, scientific communications, or learning and development.
Experience with scientific literature evaluation, content development, or educational projects.
Familiarity with oncology or other therapeutic areas is advantageous.

Salary range:
The salary range for this role is $39,908 - $111,111 ​USD
