How We Support Our BCBAs
Competitive Compensation with Bonus Potential - Base salary of $95,000–$115,000, a performance bonus of up to $25,000, and a $10,000 signing bonus - total compensation up to $150,000. Paid bi-weekly.
Ongoing Clinical Development - Up to $1,000 annually in continuing education reimbursement for industry conferences and CEUs, plus full reimbursement for renewal of your BCBA certification and North Carolina licensure. Your credentials are our investment, not your out-of-pocket expense.
Paid Time Off That Starts Year One - 15 days of PTO in your first year, seven company holidays plus a floating holiday for self-care (eight total), and one paid volunteer day a year to give back to a cause that matters to you.
Hybrid, Flexible Work Location - Work location is flexibly aligned with client needs and clinical care requirements. Our BCBAs move between home, community, and clinic settings, with remote flexibility for assessment writing, treatment planning, and administrative work.
Health & Medical Benefits - Full-time team members are eligible to participate in ATA-sponsored health and medical benefit plans.
Flexible Caseload Options - Professional goals differ, and so should caseloads. Our Impact Paths let you choose the caseload and treatment-hour model that fits how you want to practice:
- Flex Path - ~20 treatment hours
- Balance Path - ~25 treatment hours
- Impact Path - ~30 treatment hours
A Real Treatment Team - You'll work alongside trained, supported RBTs who know their clients and take their work seriously, with a Senior BCBA and Clinical Mentor available for consultation and case support.
Room to Grow - We're building clinical leadership from within. ATA's clinical team includes Senior BCBA and Clinical Mentor roles, and as we grow, our BCBAs have a real path into mentorship, supervision, and leadership. Performance is reviewed at least annually, with clear expectations and feedback along the way.
How You'll Support Your Clients and Teammates
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and build individualized treatment plans for every client on your caseload.
- Supervise RBTs and support staff, provide meaningful feedback, and hold the line on ATA's clinical quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze client data to adjust treatment plans and keep progress moving.
- Partner closely with caregivers so ABA strategies carry over at home - not just during session.
- Coordinate with intake, assessment, and treating clinicians to make new client starts smooth for families.
- Work collaboratively with teammates across ATA to create an environment where families and clinicians both feel like they belong.
What You Need to Have
- Master's degree with BACB-approved ABA coursework.
- BCBA certification, or within 3 months of sitting for the exam.
- North Carolina LBA licensure, or eligibility.
- Experience working with children with autism and related diagnoses.
- Ability to work collaboratively across a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client locations.
- A genuine interest in building something - we're growing, and we want people who want to grow with us.
What Guides Us
- Families first - Every decision starts with the child and family in front of us.
- Show up for each other - Clinicians who feel supported deliver better care. We take that seriously.
- Do it right - Honest, ethical, transparent practice, even when it's the harder path.
- Keep getting better - We learn, adjust, and raise our own bar.
