Description:
Cooper Tacia General Contracting is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Field Safety Coordinator to support our growing project portfolio across our South-East division. Reporting directly to our Corporate Safety Manager, this individual will champion our safety culture by performing regular audits, facilitating training, and driving continuous improvement in all safety-related operations across our field sites. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator who can build trust while ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Responsibilities:
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Conduct regular site safety audits and document findings using Safety Reports software.
聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Provide coaching and on-site training to ensure teams are practicing safe work procedures in line with OSHA and Cooper Tacia policies.

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Monitor the execution of high-risk activities, working alongside contractors to implement the best safety practices.
聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Represent Cooper Tacia鈥檚 safety interests on-site, advocating for the highest standard of health and safety.

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Investigate safety incidents as needed and assist in the development of corrective action plans.

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Travel to job sites, including overnight or extended stays, based on project needs.

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to Cooper Tacia鈥檚 Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.

Requirements:
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽OSHA 510/500 preferred.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Ability and willingness to stay near assigned job sites approximately 35% of the time.聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Potential for full-time placement on a project, based on project needs.聽

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Minimum 3+ years of experience identifying safety hazards and implementing hazard controls on construction sites.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to engage all levels of personnel in safety programs.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction site safety standards.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Experience creating and evaluating Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and Pre-Task Plans (PTPs), with a clear understanding of their differences and applications.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Valid driver鈥檚 license and clean driving record.
