PM Laundry Attendant (Full Time)

Job DetailsJob Location: Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage - Rancho Mirage, CA 92270Position Type: Full TimeJob Description Summary Responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel and property.  The Laundry Attendant is responsible for using machines to clean and dry articles such as towels, robes and bedding.  Sorts, folds and stores clean items.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) Perform all stages of linen processing, including but not limited to, collecting, transporting, sorting, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing when required, folding, storing and delivering Sorting all linens and treat stains Must be able to lift washed items on a consistent basis Tracking of items being washed and areas in which they belong Inventory of laundered items Keeping an updated inventory of laundry supplies such as detergent, softener, etc. Tracking Maintenance and repairs of equipment Perform additional laundry services when necessary Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.   Supervisory Responsibilities None   Access to Sensitive Areas and Information (ACC and SRC)   As per the ACGC Access Matrix   Signatory Ability HR Related Forms Employee payroll/time records with an HR representative present QualificationsRequired Education and/or Experience None Working Conditions/Physical Demands Noisy work area due to machines Hot and humid work area due to dryers Long hours on feet Constant body movement due to folding of laundered items Bending and lifting of loading and unloading washers and dryers Pulling of laundry carts from housekeeping area to Laundry room and back
