Custodial Technician Janitor

The Custodial Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the plant and office areas. This role supports daily operations by performing routine cleaning, waste removal, and basic equipment operation while ensuring high standards of housekeeping. 

Morning Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm

Hourly rate: $15.50 - $19.50/hr

Responsibilities

• • Perform various clean up and janitorial duties throughout the plant and office areas. 

• • Sweep and clean all floor surfaces as required. 

• • Clean outside surfaces and grounds of dirt and debris. 

• • Transport and empty trash and scrap bins. 

• • Operate the floor scrubber. 

• • Operate cardboard compactor machine. 

• • Operator trash compactor machine. 

• • Maintain a good standard of housekeeping. 

• • Report any unusual mechanical or operational conditions to the appropriate personnel. 

• • Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required. 

• • Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor. 

Qualifications

• • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred. 

• • High School Diploma or GED required.  

• • The ability to demonstrate basic reading and writing comprehension. 

• • The ability to work overtime as needed
