Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Crimes Analyst to help protect the bank and its customers from fraud, financial loss, and other illicit activities. This role is responsible for investigating suspicious transactions, monitoring fraud alerts, supporting fraud prevention efforts, and partnering with internal teams to mitigate risk while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Investigate suspected fraudulent activity and analyze alerts to identify and mitigate financial crime risks. Monitor debit card, account, and transaction activity; process fraud-related exceptions, account restrictions, and card reissues as needed. Provide support to branch personnel, customer care teams, and customers regarding fraud prevention and account-related inquiries. Identify fraud trends, recommend risk mitigation strategies, and assist with implementing fraud prevention measures. Maintain accurate records, process departmental reports, and escalate complex cases to management as appropriate. QualificationsQualifications and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Two to three years of customer service, call center, branch operations, or financial services experience preferred. Experience in fraud prevention, risk management, or financial crimes investigations preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software systems, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
