Mastria Auto Group is seeking an experienced, results-driven Used Car Manager to lead and grow our pre-owned operation. For more than 60 years, our family-owned organization has built its reputation on exceptional customer experiences, strong teams, and continued growth.
We are looking for a hands-on leader with a proven track record in inventory acquisition, appraisals, pricing, inventory turn, gross profitability, and team performance. The ideal candidate knows how to buy the right cars, make smart market-driven decisions, and maximize the performance of the pre-owned department.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of used vehicle inventory, including acquisition, appraisals, pricing, aging, and inventory turn
- Research market trends and identify opportunities to acquire the right vehicles at the right price
- Develop and execute an effective used vehicle pricing strategy
- Monitor inventory performance and take action to maximize gross profitability and minimize aging inventory
- Oversee used vehicle leads and ensure consistent, timely follow-up
- Partner with the marketing team to effectively advertise and merchandise pre-owned inventory
- Work closely with sales associates to structure and close deals
- Train, coach, and support the sales team to improve performance and maximize opportunities
- Maintain a professional management style that promotes accountability, urgency, enthusiasm, and teamwork
- Build strong customer relationships and assist with escalated sales situations when needed
- Collaborate with other dealership departments to maximize overall store performance and profitability
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Used Car Manager
- Proven used vehicle buying and acquisition experience
- Strong knowledge of appraisals, inventory management, pricing, and market trends
- Strong closing and deal-structuring skills
- Experience utilizing CRM and inventory tools to identify and maximize opportunities
- Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
- High-energy, positive, and professional leadership style
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
