Co-Op Civil/Environmental Engineer (Spring 2027)

Weston & Sampson is seeking an engineering student for our Spring 2026 full-time Co-Op/Intern program running from January - May. You will be working within one discipline but will be introduced to a variety of areas: civil, environmental, water, and wastewater. This position will be located in Reading, MA with occasional field work around the state. 

What you’ll do:

Students will be assisting the engineering staff with project related tasks but including:

• Data calculations 
• Research analysis 
• Design of plans and specifications for projects such as stormwater drainage improvements and green infrastructure
• Construction services including field work
• Climate Resiliency 

What you will bring:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related engineering field
• Students with 2 years of coursework completed are preferred
• Must have strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to effectively organize, manage and coordinate multiple assignments
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Introductory knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, and/or HydroCAD is preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Salary Range Per Hour: $22.00 - $26.00 Based on Education
