Meta's Trust & Security team is dedicated to protecting our platforms, users, and data from evolving threats. We develop and implement security strategies, technologies, and processes that safeguard Meta's products and infrastructure. As a Technical Program Manager for Trust Security, you will play a key role in the definition, planning, and execution of security programs that protect Meta's ecosystem. You will guide cross-functional teams through complex security initiatives, including planning security features and requirements, managing schedules, identifying and tracking risks and mitigations, and driving programs from concept to delivery. You will be responsible for communication of program status and risk to stakeholders across the organization. We look for Technical Program Managers who have a demonstrated technical foundation in security, are proven motivators, cross-functional relationship builders, and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced security environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with security engineering, product management, infrastructure, and other teams to drive the investigation, definition, and delivery of trust and security initiatives
  • Create development and delivery strategies and schedules based on security requirements, technical challenges, and business needs
  • Manage communication within and between internal security teams and cross-functional partners
  • Work with teams to set milestones, communicate program status, and identify/address potential risks and blockers
  • Drive engineering teams to bring security-related technical issues to closure
  • Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and security processes in a quickly changing threat landscape
  • Manage security programs from early concept through full deployment and ongoing operations
  • Ensure program documents are complete, current, and available for staff and leadership review
  • Contribute to resource planning to ensure program success
  • Up to 25% travel domestically and internationally based on program needs


Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years experience as a Program Manager managing security, infrastructure, or systems engineering programs
  • Experience with security program management and risk assessment methodologies
  • Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability management, or security incident response processes
  • Knowledge of program issue/bug tracking and risk management
  • Communication experience and experience working with technical security teams
  • Problem solving and organizational experience
  • Experience building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams


Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in cybersecurity, information security, or related security domains
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience managing trust and safety or security programs at scale
  • Experience with security compliance frameworks and audits
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies


$168,000/year to $234,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
