We are actively hiring a KoreanLinguist to join our team working in Reston, VA. You will be responsible for supporting a government agency and your office with translation, transcription, and/or interpretation services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpretation of primarily individual meetings but may include conference-type settings. Having simultaneous interpretation skills is a plus
- Translating from Khorean into English
- This position may require short-term domestic and foreign travel
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in education, foreign language, or technical field with relevant foreign language training experience desired
- Interpretation
- Translation into English
- Editing and Quality Control of language products
- Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise
- Writing reports
- Workflow management
- Triage
- Subject Matter Expertise in Science and Technology or Sponsor Operations
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Interpretation skills for Khmer
- Transcription into English
- Terminology Management
- Translation Related Services (TRS)
- Writing Analysis
