Reggio's Treehouse is looking for an experienced and energetic person who enjoys thinking outside the box to join our team as a Childcare Cook / Float.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to the menu and dietary restrictions
• Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Collaborate with the management team to plan and prepare new snacks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Assist in classrooms to cover ratios and lunch breaks

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Work experience in a licensed childcare facility or early childhood program

Preferred

• Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
• Familiarity with menu planning and dietary restrictions
• Strong understanding of food safety practices
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
