About the Role:
DJ's Auto Repair Service is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Linn, MO! This is a great opportunity for a skilled tech to put their expertise to work in a busy, fast-paced shop environment — with flat rate pay available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid services
- Conduct brake, suspension, and steering system repairs
- Perform engine and drivetrain diagnostics using modern scan tools
- Complete electrical system troubleshooting and repairs
- Document repair orders accurately and communicate findings to service advisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work bay
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
- Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics, including OBD-II systems
- Experience with both domestic and foreign vehicle repairs
- ASE certification(s) preferred but not required
- Must supply own set of professional hand tools
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player
