The Learning Delivery Specialist – Accounting is a highly skilled facilitator with deep accounting and financial operations expertise. This role is responsible for delivering interactive, accurate, and role-relevant training on financial management and ERP products to both internal teams and external clients.

Unlike traditional trainers who follow rigid scripts, this facilitator must understand complex accounting workflows, adapt in real time to varied financial use cases, and confidently answer expert-level questions from accounting professionals, controllers, and operational leaders.

This role works closely with L&D Specialists (product SMEs), Instructional Designers, and Product Learning & Enablement to bring financial curriculum to life through exceptional facilitation. They ensure clients receive training that reflects real-world accounting scenarios, industry best practices, regulatory considerations, and the capabilities of TownSq’s financial systems.

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Deliver high-quality training on financial management systems, ERP modules, workflows, and reporting tools.
  • Facilitate sessions for accounting audiences, including AP/AR specialists, accountants, controllers, and finance leaders.
  • Adapt explanations and content dynamically based on the client’s accounting structure, chart of accounts, controls, and business rules.
  • Explain complex financial concepts in accessible terms for diverse learners.
  • Use scenarios, examples, and demonstrations specific to accounting operations in the community association management environment.
  • Accounting & ERP Product Expertise
  • Maintain deep subject-matter expertise in financial products, including general ledger, AP/AR, budgeting, reporting, bank reconciliation, allocations, and month-end processes.
  • Understand how accounting workflows translate into system actions and vice versa.
  • Stay informed on product enhancements, new finance features, and regulatory impacts that may affect training.

Curriculum Collaboration

  • Partner with L&D Specialists and Instructional Designers to co-create facilitator guides, demos, and delivery tools for financial training.
  • Ensure financial training materials accurately reflect accounting best practices, internal controls, and compliance considerations.
  • Provide feedback to curriculum teams on learner challenges and workflow documentation improvements.
  • Learner Engagement & Applied Learning
  • Facilitate hands-on practice including journal entries, AP workflows, reporting drills, reconciliations, and approval pathways.
  • Adjust pacing and depth based on learners’ accounting backgrounds.
  • Field complex accounting questions and provide real-world examples.
  • Tailor training session flow based on client accounting maturity and process complexity.
  • Create inclusive and supportive learning environments.
  • Tailor explanations, workflows, and scenarios based on learner roles.
  • Navigate challenging questions and high-pressure moments with confidence and professionalism.

Continuous Improvement

  • Collect insights on financial user challenges and collaborate on product enhancements.
