The Prefabrication Mechanic provides hands on leadership to the shop crew and improves field efficiency and quality by producing pre-fabricated material. This position aims to reduce field install hours by pre-fabricating necessary material in a safe, efficient environment to meet the fast-paced deadlines within our industry. The Prefabrication Mechanic will be responsible to schedule, monitor, and organize day to day work in the pipe pre-fabrication shop, as coordinated with field operations and project management. Assist with piping and plumbing prefab as necessary. QualificationsWhat You’ll Bring: 3+ years of experience in fabrication. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Fluent English verbal and written skills are required. Driving Requirements Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license. Must have positive points on state driving record. Must be at least 21 years of age unless company approval is granted. Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years. All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team.
