Help Lead Affordable Housing Communities as a Senior Property Manager

At People Incorporated, we believe safe, affordable housing changes lives. We're looking for a motivated Senior Property Manager to help lead our growing Affordable Housing Management team. The Senior Property Manager will manage and oversee multiple affordable housing properties while supporting staff development, operational excellence, and resident satisfaction.

This role is ideal for a property management professional who enjoys balancing operations, compliance, financial performance, and team leadership while serving a mission that matters.

What You'll Do

  • Directly manage a new affordable housing property in Richmond.
  • Lead and support Property Managers across multiple locations.
  • Drive occupancy, resident retention, and property performance.
  • Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations and property requirements.
  • Monitor expenses, financial performance, and vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure attractive, well-maintained communities.
  • Conduct property inspections and work with residents to build community satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two or more years of multifamily property management experience, preferably over multiple sites.
  • Supervisory experience and strong leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of affordable housing programs, compliance requirements, and Fair Housing principles is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel regularly to assigned properties.
