Position Title: Staff Accountant
         Â
Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant will work full-time as a member of our Finance team, supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization. This role will assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and other accounting functions. The Staff Accountant will collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy of financial records while developing a strong understanding of the company’s accounting processes and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Code transactions appropriately in general ledger.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in accounting transactions.
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and analysis.
- Special program tracking (minimum spend, rebates, etc.).
- Support audits and other financial reviews as needed.
- Document standard operating procedures for accounting processes.
- Identify issues and suggest procedural improvements.
- Cross-train on additional accounting responsibilities to provide backup support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team environment
- Analytical thinker with ability to problem solve
Pay Range
USD $53,000.00 - USD $74,000.00 /Yr.
