Physical Therapy Assistant


We are looking for a committed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide quality care to all residents. Under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, the PTA evaluates and treats patients/residents, communicates with their families, physicians, and other health team members, and maintains all necessary documentation of services in the patient's medical records.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure and record residents' motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
  • Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • Observe residents and write progress reports.
  • Evaluate residents' ability to function independently.
  • Assist residents with exercises and equipment, including stretches and massages.
  • Educate residents on proper exercise techniques to strengthen muscles and improve mobility.
  • Contribute positively to the team effort and overall care environment.
