Security Team Member

Shindigs Riverside is looking for experienced, dependable Security Team Members to join our crew.

We’re a high-energy country bar, restaurant, and live entertainment venue, so we need people who can keep an eye on the room, handle situations professionally, and help make sure both our guests and team members feel safe and welcome.

We’re looking for people who are friendly, confident, observant, and calm under pressure. You should know how to have a conversation before turning a situation into a confrontation.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests and help maintain a safe, positive environment
• Monitor entrances, exits, and activity throughout the venue
• Check IDs and assist with entry procedures
• Help manage crowds during busy nights, live music, and special events
• Professionally de-escalate conflicts before they become bigger problems
• Enforce Shindigs' policies consistently and respectfully
• Look out for the safety of our guests, employees, entertainers, and property
• Communicate closely with managers and other security team members
• Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary
• Document incidents accurately when required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous security or crowd-control experience preferred
• Current California Guard Card required
• Current RBS Certification required
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
• Calm, professional demeanor — especially when situations get stressful
• Friendly but firm personality
• Good judgment and situational awareness
• Dependable and punctual
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Availability to work nights and weekends

Experience working in bars, nightclubs, concerts, restaurants, or live entertainment venues is a big plus.
