All Systems Electrical is an industrial automation specialist. Our company
provides three distinct services: UL panel manufacturing, full turnkey installation
package including engineering and programming, and 24 HR service with
preventative maintenance. Multiple locations and a team of traveling technicians
enable us to serve customers nationwide. With 20 years of experience and an
unparalleled reputation, All Systems Electrical tackles projects for some of the
parcel post industry’s biggest names. 

As a multi-branch electrical contractor, All Systems Electrical is a fast-paced
work environment. We are seeking a Controller to oversee all financial operations,
internal controls, risk management, regional fleet logistics, tool tracking, and
multi-location inventory systems. This senior role is an essential part of company
management, especially as our company undergoes significant growth. This role
manages cash flow, precise job-cost accounting for complex electrical
installations, corporate asset allocations, bonding, and financial reporting to
executive leadership across branches.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Oversight:
  • Manage the general ledger
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Payroll
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Multi-Branch Inventory & Tool Tracking:
  • Oversee inventory tracking systems for raw materials, bulk wire, conduit, and specialized electrical equipment across job locations and warehouses.
  • Establish protocols for tool tracking software to monitor heavy equipment, field tools, and diagnostic gear, minimizing loss and optimizing asset utilization.

Fleet Management:
  • Manage the financial operations of the corporate service fleet.
  • Track vehicle acquisition, leasing agreements, fuel cards, maintenance expenses, and insurance costs.
  • Monitor fleet asset depreciation and analyze the total cost of ownership to optimize company profitability.

Job Cost Accounting:
  • Track labor, material, and equipment costs for active electrical projects.
  • Analyze gross profit margins, change orders, and work-in-progress (WIP) schedules.

Risk & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with state contractor licensing laws, DOT regulations for fleet vehicles, prevailing wage rules, certified payroll, union requirements, and tax regulations.
  • Manage commercial liability insurance and subcontractor agreements.

Cash Flow & Bonding:
  • Monitor cash flow to support heavy material purchasing, fleet upkeep, and regional payroll.
  • Maintain relationships with bonding agents, banks, and external auditors.

Strategic Planning:
  •  Partner with executive management to set budgets, forecast revenue, and evaluate company profitability by branch, department, or project type.

Qualifications Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business 
Administration.
Experience: Minimum of 7 to 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3
to 5 years in construction or trade-contractor role with working knowledge of job-
cost accounting methods.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage and mentor accounting teams while
communicating financial data clearly to non-financial operational and branch
managers.
