The Human Resource Specialist will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department. The HR Specialist ensures HR processes are efficient, accurate, and in compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies. This position requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR Manager.
  • Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
  • Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, etc.
  • Maintains accurate and up to date credentialing files of all providers and clinical staff at all locations
  • Performs periodic audits of credentialing files to ensure that all clinical staff members maintain current credentials and licenses to work legally in their field.
  • Acts as back up for Credentialing Specialist
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
