Position Summary:


This position is responsible for heavy equipment repairs, including installing, transferring, rigging, fabricating, troubleshooting, and rebuilding machinery and equipment. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment.
  • Perform equipment alignment and adjustment.
  • Assist with equipment modifications and improvements.
  • Cross-train, learn, and support other functions or processes as required.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of heavy machinery safety procedures (LOTO).
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of machining, milling, fabricating, and welding.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems. 
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

Education/Experience Requirements:


  • Two years of experience as a millwright. 


Working Environment:


  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment or parts that weigh up to 50 pounds.
