Role Purpose
Drive revenue from secondary PP materials (PP lumps, BOPP film scrap, edge trim, off-spec rolls) by developing and managing a customer base of PP transformers (injection molding, raffia/tape, thermoforming) and distributors. The role combines technical knowledge of PP transformation with proven B2B sales experience in the plastics value chain.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, qualify, and onboard buyers for PP secondary materials: compounders, injection molders, raffia/tape extruders, thermoformers, and scrap distributors.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects; convert leads to repeat contracts with clear volume, quality, and pricing terms.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and logistics arrangements; prepare and manage sales deals or contracts.
- Monitor PP scrap market trends, pricing benchmarks, adjust tactics to maximize margin and offtake.
Technical & Customer Interface
- Coordinate with production/quality teams to ensure consistent grading, segregation, and documentation.
- Provide post-sale support: resolve quality claims, arrange trials, and optimize specifications for specific applications (e.g., raffia vs. injection).
Operations & Compliance
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams on loading plans, transport mode, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and legal requirements for scrap handling and sales.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in sales within the PP transformation or plastics recycling value chain.
- Exposure to PP processes such as injection molding, raffia/tape extrusion, or thermoforming—either in a technical, production, or commercial role.
- Familiarity with PP scrap grades (lumps, film bales, edge trim, printed/unprinted BOPP) and basic quality parameters relevant to preprocessors.
- Experience with international or cross-border sales (Incoterms, export documentation) is a plus.
