The Staff Pad has partnered with a respected healthcare organization in Russellville, AL to hire a dedicated and compassionate Float Pool Registered Nurse committed to delivering exceptional patient care and positive clinical outcomes.

In this role, you will provide and coordinate high-quality patient care by assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team. You will implement physician orders, deliver nursing interventions, advocate for patients, and evaluate care outcomes to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate treatment.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care following established standards and protocols
  • Conduct physical assessments and evaluate patient health status
  • Assist with cardiac catheterization and specialized procedures
  • Coordinate discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses
  • Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention
  • Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

What We Are Looking For

Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of practice
  • Strong clinical knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and Nursing best practices
  • Urgent care or ambulatory surgery center experience preferred
  • Proficient in suturing and a variety of clinical procedures
  • Familiarity with geriatric care principles is a plus
  • Exceptional communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills
