Job Description:

Capital Program Management (CPM) seeks a cost accounting/budget analyst to work with program and project managers and school district financial/accounting departments to develop, monitor, and adjust budgets for new construction and/or modernization projects.聽 You will also assist with the preparation of various accounting reports, write protocols and procedures, and prepare and present training and reporting materials.

Responsibilities include:

路聽聽聽聽聽Input of accounting data into software system following firm protocols.

路聽聽聽聽聽Review and analyze invoices from vendors for appropriate charges and route for approvals to appropriate individuals.

路聽聽聽聽聽Reconcile financial records between CPM and school district鈥檚/public works entity鈥檚 accounting systems.

路聽聽聽聽聽Communicate with clients on various levels regarding budgets and transactions for Capital projects.

路聽聽聽聽聽Work with project managers on construction budgets for individual projects from development of budget to monitoring, adjusting, and closing out of projects.

路聽聽聽聽聽Prepare monthly financial reports to be distributed to School Boards, Oversight Committees and various management personnel.

路聽聽聽聽聽Prepare mandated state reports for individual capital projects funded with state monies.

Qualifications needed:

路聽聽聽聽聽Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook

路聽聽聽聽聽Ability to analyze financial related documents for irregularities and errors

路聽聽聽聽聽Extremely detail oriented, organized and efficient

路聽聽聽聽聽Bachelor鈥檚 degree in accounting or equivalent work experience

路聽聽聽聽聽Familiarization with School accounting systems a plus

路聽聽聽聽聽3-5 years experience
