Summary
We are seeking a Housekeeper/Property Cleaner to join our team at New Dawn Treatment Center. This position will be responsible for traveling between assigned New Dawn locations (Orangevale/Loomis/Roseville/Fair Oaks) and ensuring that each property is maintained to a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming standard. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, able to work independently, and takes pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and deep cleaning at assigned company properties.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, offices, bedrooms, and other designated spaces.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, and clean floors and surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces.
- Empty trash and replace liners.
- Clean mirrors, windows, fixtures, countertops, appliances, and other surfaces as assigned.
- Monitor cleaning and household supply levels and notify management when additional supplies are needed.
- Complete deep-cleaning projects and periodic cleaning assignments.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, damaged property, safety hazards, or needed repairs.
- Follow company sanitation, infection-control, safety, and confidentiality requirements.
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of clients while working within residential treatment environments.
- Travel between New Dawn properties based on the daily or weekly cleaning schedule.
- Complete cleaning checklists or other required documentation.
- Assist with additional housekeeping and property-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous professional housekeeping, residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent cleaning standards.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to manage assigned responsibilities independently.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and move efficiently between multiple properties.
- Professional and respectful when working around clients and staff.
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures, safety requirements, and supervisor instructions.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel between assigned company locations.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record may be required based on job responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality when working within a behavioral healthcare environment
