About the Position
A homeschooling family in Rancho Cordova is seeking a dependable, patient, and engaging nanny for a long-term position.
The family has four children; however, the nanny will primarily care for three children: a 12-year-old and 6-year-old twins. The oldest child, age 14, is independent and does not require supervision.
The children are active and thrive with structure, patience, positive communication, and engaging activities.
Schedule
-  Monday–Wednesday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PMÂ
- Â Occasional Thursday or Friday care may be available as neededÂ
- Â Family is open to utilizing more than one nanny if necessary for consistent coverageÂ
Responsibilities
- Â Provide attentive and engaging careÂ
- Â Maintain a structured and positive daily routineÂ
- Â Plan crafts and creative activitiesÂ
- Â Assist with worksheets and educational activities using curriculum provided by MomÂ
- Â Support homeschooling activities when comfortableÂ
- Â Encourage outdoor play, walks, and bike rides to the parkÂ
- Â Prepare simple meals and snacksÂ
- Â Assist with the twins' laundryÂ
- Â Encourage age-appropriate independence, including folding and putting away clothingÂ
- Â Notify Mom when activity or craft supplies are running lowÂ

Pets
The family has one outdoor cat and five backyard chickens. Comfort around the chickens is not required, as the children can play in the front yard if preferred.
