Responsibilities
- Roar Up experiences include the following:
- Leading small group discussions
- Campus tours
- Interacting with a diverse group of students and their families
- Facilitating social events
- Answering questions and directing attendees throughout the sessions
Qualifications
- Each student must complete the Spring 2022 Semester as a full-time undergraduate student at Flagler College
- Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior
- Minimum GPA of 2.0
- OLs are required to reside in the St. Augustine area throughout May, June, July and August 2022. Exceptions must be approved by the Director of Student Leadership & Engagement prior to the start of training
- OLs must request to take courses during Summer Session A and/or B. Classes cannot interfere with orientation training, sessions and programming. Classes may be approved on a case-by-case basis and preference will be given for asynchronous online classes
- Any outside job will need to be discussed with the Director of Student Leadership & Engagement prior to the start of training to ensure no conflicts throughout the summer.
- OLs must be available to attend all training sessions, meetings, practices, and all dates outlined in the Required Dates below
- No student may hold the position while on academic or disciplinary probation as defined by the Student Handbook
