A day in the life:
Prepare daily outgoing mail by sealing, weighing, labeling and logging items for shipment via USPS and other services.
Enter and verify data from multiple sources into computer systems, ensuring accuracy and proper coding.
Operate and maintain office equipment such as scanners, folding machines and labeling tools, including routine cleaning and troubleshooting.
Review and process financial documents, including payments, refunds and account corrections.
Scan and image documents for retention, perform quality checks and re-scan as needed to ensure clarity and completeness.
Provide clerical support by updating customer records, retrieving files and assisting staff with training and procedure development as needed.
Work is performed in a typical office environment and includes sitting or standing for long periods of time while performing repetitive tasks.

Through an equal pay assessment, we will determine the salary offer using the information you provide in your submitted application materials. The salary range listed is the non-PERS monthly salary range. If you are already a participating PERS member or once you become PERS eligible, the salary range will increase by 6.95%.

Minimum qualifications:
One year of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents;
OR
An equivalent combination of experience and college coursework or training in a general office occupation.
