Assembler

Assembler – 1st Shift – Kipp, KS

Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Manufacturing, has an opening for a 1st Shift Assembler to join our team at the facility in Kipp, KS. 

The hours for this role are Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., plus overtime on Fridays as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Assemble prototypes
• Sort and check in parts
• Assist with testing as needed
• Interpret engineering prints and follow specifications 
• Deliver and pick up parts
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to read prints and be able to use a tape measure as required
• Attention to detail
• Embrace culture of Lean Manufacturing and implementation of change
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent attendance
