LSC's Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) program is seeking a full-time HCBS AFL Recruiter to help identify, recruit, and support Adult Foster Living (AFL) providers throughout North and South Carolina. What We Offer Full-time $25.00 per hour Remote position Additional $2.00 per hour if teammate opts out of benefits Benefit eligibility begins after 30 days Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, PTO, and more Free medical insurance option ($0 premium) Career Advancement Opportunities Tuition Assistance and Scholarship Opportunities Position Summary The HCBS AFL Recruiter is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies to identify, attract, and engage qualified Adult Foster Living (AFL) providers. This role partners closely with operational leaders, case managers, and community organizations to expand provider networks and support the growth of HCBS services. The Recruiter serves as a key ambassador for Lutheran Services Carolinas, building relationships with prospective providers and guiding them through the onboarding process. Essential Responsibilities Recruit and develop a network of qualified Adult Foster Living (AFL) providers. Create and execute recruitment strategies to meet program growth goals. Build relationships with community organizations, faith-based groups, advocacy organizations, and other referral sources. Conduct outreach through community events, virtual meetings, social media, and other recruitment channels. Educate prospective providers about AFL services, requirements, and opportunities. Guide applicants through the provider onboarding, screening, and approval processes. Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking information. Collaborate with HCBS leadership and operational teams to identify provider needs and recruitment priorities. Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular updates on pipeline activity and outcomes. Represent LSC professionally in the community and virtually. Support special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education & Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience in recruiting, sales, business development, community outreach, human services, or healthcare preferred. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral health services, or community-based programs is a plus. Skills & Abilities Strong networking and relationship-building skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable presenting information to groups and individuals. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual communication platforms. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Self-motivated with a passion for connecting individuals to meaningful opportunities. Working Conditions Remote work environment with regular travel throughout North Carolina. Flexible schedule based on recruitment and community outreach needs.
