Description

 Come grow as the PRODUCTION ADMINISTRATOR! The Production Administrator responsibilities entail helping with control procedures, organize work instructions, support enforcement of internal and external quality policies, schedule work orders and assist with reporting to Production Management   


Your Day-to-Day:
Work Order Management

  •   Reconcile and validate work orders in the system to ensure accuracy between planned, executed, and 
  • reported production. 
  •  Monitor and track daily production activities, including: 
  • Production output 
  • Downtime (planned and unplanned) 
  • Raw material consumption, including quantities used during color changes 
  • Generate, review, and distribute daily production, downtime, and scorecard reports. 
  • Prepare and distribute reports on raw material usage during color changes, including daily summaries and monthly trend analysis. 
  • Develop weekly and monthly statistics, graphs, and dashboards reflecting production performance and efficiency. 
  • Consolidate and prepare monthly Production Management reports for leadership review. 
  • Print and track daily sales orders for the Sports segment to ensure proper visibility and execution alignment. 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying discrepancies, inefficiencies, and opportunities within work order processes. 

Scheduling Support  

  • Serve as the primary backup scheduler for the Production Planner, ensuring uninterrupted scheduling 
  • operations. 
  • Schedule and manage Sports segment work orders in the system, aligning production timelines with 
  • customer deadlines and specifications. 
  • Maintain visibility of production priorities and adjust schedules when necessary to meet operational 
  • demands. 
  • Provide cross-functional support to Production Management, including backup support for the Assistant 
  • Production Manager when required. 
  • Complete and maintain required operational reports such as Snaplock weekly reporting to ensure 
  • scheduling and execution alignment. 

Quality & Compliance 

  • Support and maintain compliance with company standards, procedures, and internal controls. 
  • Complete ISO internal auditor training and actively participate in internal audit activities. 
  • Create, update, and maintain: 
  • Job descriptions for Production Management personnel 
  • Standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and forms 
  • Prepare and distribute monthly planned and unplanned downtime reports in alignment with compliance and reporting standards. 
  • Promote and uphold 5S principles by: 
  • Maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient work environment 
  • Identifying workflow improvement opportunities 
  • Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards 
  • Encouraging accountability and continuous improvement within the team  
     

What We Would Love About You: 

  • High School Diploma, some College preferred  
  • 3 years of experience in a hands-on production role with 1 year in a supervision or lead position. 
  •  Experience in manufacturing, preferably in an injection environment. 
  • Effective Leadership, team-building and mentoring skills. 
  • Forklift Certification required. 
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Proficient in production management software/tools 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Secondary language in Spanish a plus. 
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills. 
  •  Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
