Job Summary:
The Nursing Director oversees the 24/7 operations of the Labor & Delivery department, ensuring high-quality patient care, efficient resource management, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and achievement of organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
路聽 聽 聽 聽 Lead daily department operations and strategic planning.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 Manage operating and capital budgets.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 Recruit, develop, evaluate, and retain nursing staff.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 Drive performance improvement, patient safety, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 Monitor department performance using data and analytics.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 Optimize workflows, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 Foster a positive work environment and support staff development.

Qualifications
Required:
路聽 聽 聽 聽 Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
路聽 聽 聽 聽 Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License
路聽 聽 聽 聽 5+ years of Labor & Delivery or related clinical experience
路聽 聽 聽 聽 Active BLS certification (AHA required within 60 days of hire)

Preferred:
路聽 聽 聽 聽 Master's Degree in Nursing, Business, or related field
路聽 聽 聽 聽 3-5 years of progressive leadership/management experience
路聽 聽 聽 聽 Nursing specialty or healthcare administration certification
