Job DetailsJob Location: Main MSO - 720 Pleasanton Rd. - San Antonio, TX 78214Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: Managed Care General Summary: The Population Health Department Administrative Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and programmatic support to the Population Health Department. This position coordinates departmental activities, supports population health programs and initiatives, maintains departmental documentation and reporting, assists with project coordination, and facilitates communication and collaboration among internal departments, clinical teams, community partners, and other stakeholders. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.     Supervisory Responsibilities:   General Requirements:   This position has no supervisory responsibilities.   All duties performed will be done accurately and in a timely manner.   Provide administrative and operational support to the Population Health Department. Coordinate departmental meetings, agendas, minutes, schedules, and follow-up activities. Support the coordination and implementation of population health programs, initiatives, and quality improvement activities. Collect, organize, and maintain departmental data, reports, metrics, records, and documentation. Prepare reports, presentations, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other departmental materials. Coordinate communication and information flow among Population Health staff, clinical teams, leadership, community partners, and other stakeholders. Track departmental projects, deadlines, deliverables, and action items to support timely completion. Assist with department policies, procedures, workflows, compliance activities, and process improvement initiatives. Coordinate special projects, training activities, audits, surveys, and other departmental initiatives as assigned.     Qualifications Education and Training: Minimum high school education or equivalent. An associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.         Experience:   Experience in a clinic, doctor’s office or hospital with a minimum of one-year experience preferred. Relevant administrative, organizational, or coordination experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with strong organizational, communication, time-management, and computer skills is required.       Other Requirements: Computer Skills: Skilled in use of computer/EMR systems. Knowledge of Word processing software, spreadsheet software, Internet, and database software.     Work Environment:  Clinic environment. Exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.     Mental / Physical Requirements:  Requires manual dexterity, sitting, standing, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crouching, bending, walking, lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance. Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
