JOB SUMMARY This position will register eligible customers into the Youth Program. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct employment searches. Develop youth worksites. Coordinate and participate in job fairs and youth recreational activities. Develop an approach to set goals, skill attainment, employment search, and placement. Conduct outreach to generate new customers and business for the Youth Center. Maintain customer data, assessments, planned goals, outcomes, and other required records. Facilitate customer and employer satisfaction is promoted, including during assessment, registration, intensive services, placement, and follow-up. Work with Summer Youths to place them into subsidized work experience. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards. Perform other duties as assigned. QualificationsKNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES Knowledge of youth services. High level of professionalism, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office. Ability to communicate in an articulate, professional manner while maintaining a necessary degree of confidentiality. Ability to work in culturally and racially diverse populations and in lower socio-economic conditions. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multi-task while maintaining quality standards. Ability to build productive working relationships. Ability to pleasantly and effectively represent the organization. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree or equivalent OR a combination of education and related work experience preferred. 1 to 2 years of related experience. CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURE / LANGUAGE Must provide proof of required vaccinations by federal, state, and local funding sources. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. BLS/CPR certification preferred. Employees driving personal vehicles for El Proyecto business must provide El Proyecto proof of a valid driving license, and auto liability insurance. El Proyecto will reimburse employees for their mileage at the current rate set by the Internal Revenue Service. To receive mileage reimbursement, the employee must log their mileage and submit the mileage expense report to their Appropriate Administrator.
